SUSAN³ MORTLOCK (THOMAS², WILLIAM¹) was born 27 May 1872 in Murrumbucka, Cooma, NSW, and died 14 April 1955 in Narrandera, NSW.  She married CHRISTOPHER JOHN TURNER 13 October 1892 in The Manse, Narrandera, NSW. [ Reg. no 5370-30/1892]  son of JOHN TURNER and ESTHER HERBERT.  He was born 1868 in Wagga Wagga, NSW, and died 23 August 1947 in Narrandera, NSW. 

At the time of marriage Susan Mortlock was a Servant, Christopher John Turner was a Bullock Driver, usual place of residence was Narrandera for both, witnesses were William Turner and Maggi Robinson, officiating minister was Charles Connor. Married in the Manse, Narrandera, according to the rites of the Presbyterian Church. Particulars obtained from Church Register No. 1792 signed by G.S. Blackmore the Deputy Registrar General, Sydney. Stamped 4 Jan 1949.  Birthplace - or Christopher John ??? Gully near Wagga Wagga. For Susan Mortlock, Monaro. Age for Christopher John is 24, Susan 21.  Parent’s names, mothers name and maiden name were not stated on the Marriage Certificate, but written in pen is John Turner, Esther Herbert, and Kittie Sissie Herbert. Father Thomas Mortlock on a copy obtained for this tree from a family member, there is a query as to who wrote in the name for Thomas Mortlock as it is written in by different handwriting than G.S. Blackmore. Father's Occupation for both is Laborer. From family History 'as they were cousins they ran away to be married'.  They had 7 children. 

Susan is buried in Narrandera Cemetery with her husband,
