1. Hugh Driscoll, son of John Driscoll and Julia, was born on December 24, 1800 in Bantry Bay, County Cork, Ireland and died in 1843 at Sea at age 43.

Notes: Hugh and Ann arrived as Bounty Immigrants aboard the ship "Bussorah Merchant" on 5th April 1841.

Notice is hereby given, that the usual licenses of departure were this day granted to the following persons VIZ:

Thomas Thurston, George M' Quire, John Michael Foley, Philip Rieley, Edward Garlow, and Hugh Driscoll, to proceed in the schooner , Edward bound for Moreton Bay , agreeably to the 10th section of the act of council, 4 Victoria. No17. (Signed By ) H.H Browne , J.P., Superintendent of water police , water police office , Sydney.
January 23rd 1843.
On the 24th January 1843 the schooner " Edward " with a number of passagers, sailed from Sydney for Moreton Bay . Hugh Driscoll was the only Driscoll listed on the ship's passenger list.
Inquiries revealed that the reason for Hugh Driscoll obtaining approval for travel was in accordance with the Public Statue Acts 1838 - 1846 the 10th section of the Act of Council, 4th Vic . No 17 . Apparently Hugh Driscoll attempted to obtain a berth on the schooner after the ship's Manifest had been submitted for a Shipping Intelligence Clearance to sail to Moreton Bay, Queensland. After having shown reasonable cause to the Superintendent of the water police , a special licence was issused to enable Hugh Driscoll 's name to be inserted on the ship's manifest. The Schooner sailed on 24th January 1843 , from Sydney Harbour and the ship's crew and passengers were never seen or heard of again .

During 1842 to 1845 in the Brisbane ward , in Sydney , Mrs Ann Driscoll operated a boarding House in Clarence St. and in 1845 she met John Green and the marriage was on 10th Feb 1846 in Towrang NSW . Ann Green died in Albury 23rd April 1874 and it was revealed that there were 6 children by the 1st marriage and 2 children by the 2nd marriage
