Genealogy

William and Jane Moore (nee Robinson- Dry Plains Cooma) came to Nimmitabel during the construction of the Cooma-Bombala Railway line and lived in Hutchinson Street, except for a short time in 1916-17 when William worked from Bombala. William and Jane had 6 children - Eileen who married Thomas Clear. Louise who married Jot Reed. Mervyn who married Mary Miles, died as a P.O.W in Sandakan Nth Borneo in 1945 and Eric who never married John and Gladys died in infancy. Jot and Louise had five children. Lloyd. - married Sally Markee still lives in Nimmitabel. Bill married Maureen Johnson lives in Canberra. Barry - married Marie Sykes lives in Canberra. Allen - married Yvonne McPhie lives in Maroochydore. Nancye -married Michael Honey lives in Canberra

William and Jane Moore came to Nimmitabel during the construction of the Cooma-Bombala Railway line and lived in Hutchison Street, Nimmitabel except for the short time in 1916-1917 when William worked from Bombala.
William and Jane had 6 children: Eileen married Tom Clear, Louise married Jot Reed, Mervyn married Mary Miles, (Mervyn died as a POW in Sandakan, North Borneo in 1945, and Eric who never married. Other children John and Gladys died in infancy.
Jot and Louise Reed had 5 children - Lloyd married Sally Markee and still lives in Nimmitabel, they had 4 children Jennifer, Caroline, Joan and Elizabeth who all have married and moved to live in other areas.
The other children of Jot and Louise -  Bill, Barry, Allen and Nancye all moved away from Nimmitabel
