July  7 ,1919—“Monaro Mercury” records death of Hugh McColl  J.P. of Spy Hill , Paupong. His body was found by his cousin, Elmo McColl. He had been drawing timber, and his health for some time had not been good, and it is thought he died of heart failure. He was resident of Paupong for 35 years. aged 67. He leaves 4 brothers and 2 sisters in various parts of the Commonwealth. His nearest relation on Monaro is Angus McColl, who has an adjoining property.
