1. George Cullen was born in 1793 in County Wicklow, Ireland, died on April 8, 1849 in Concord, NSW¹ at age 56, and was buried on April 9, 1849.

Notes: George Cullen was a convict who arrived at Port Jackson on the 5th August 1826 aboard the ship "Regalia". The ship had sailed from Dublin in Ireland on the 16th March 1826, a voyage of 142 days.
He had been tried and convicted of stealing glass in Dublin on the 23rd November 1825.
The shipping indent give the following details of George:-
Native place: Wicklow, Ireland.
Occupation: Coachman.
Height: 5ft. 4 1/2 ins.
Complexion: Pale and sallow.
Eyes: Brown.
Hair: Brown.
Scar on left chin over left upper lip.
Married with 2 children.
On arrival he was sent to Parramatta where he was assigned to H. H. MacArthur at Vineyard Cottage, Parramatta. He was granted his Ticket of Leave on the 22nd June 1837.
George married again in 1835 at Parramatta to Johanna Walter. They were married by Reverend Samuel Marsden.
