ELIZABETH DE VERE COLLIENS - -   BORN -  ELIZABETH YOUNG  -27/9/1853  Residence: Cuppacumbalong on the Murrumbidgee River; Baptised in the Parish of St. John Canbury NSW.

MOTHER: MARGARET MCMAHON ;  FATHER: JAMES YOUNG (Tailor)  Her parents were married in 1846.  According to the NSW BDM's there probably other siblings.

Her Marriage to my grt grandfather took place in COOMA 18/7/1878 to Frank Norman De Vere Colliens.(Born in New Orleans USA).  Usual residence: CUDGELL (or CUDGETS ? )

Minister: Joseph Young       Witnesses to the marriage: Abraham Bainbridge O’Connor, 

Frank Inscoe(?) Mathews.

Dear Pattrick

Firstly I would like say that I think The Manaro Pioneer’s Website is fabulous.  Other families found our COLLINS information and were able to connect to the other “branches” and obtain more pieces to the puzzle.

I would like to add another name to the Monaro Pioneer’s Website. I am researching my great grandmother’s ancestors – on my mother’s paternal side. Could you please add this to the website? I found all their descendents but very little is known of their life, except that they separated after having 4 children. Frank worked in several mining towns in NSW, W.A and New Zealand. Both of them died in Sydney, NSW and were buried in Rookwood Cemetery in separate graves. Thank you.
