Farrier and General Blacksmith.
F. H. Bailey, Farrier and General Blacksmith, Sharp Street, Cooma, after
serving his time in Sydney started on his own account in Cooma with 19/- and a
plug of tobacco. He has taken 21 first prizes for horse-shoes and was beaten
only, on one occasion, but had the pleasure of beating that competitor on two
later occasions. Mr. Bailey makes 95 per cent. of the hand-made shoes throughout
the district.
