Notes: Ernest Alfred's second marriage to Margaret Jane Weekes only lasted four and a half years. Unfortunately for his new young family, while on one of his registered mail/goods runs, he stopped to skin a dead cow. Afterwards becoming quite ill and later dying of blood poisoning he left an impossibly hard situation for those left behind. Ernest married Mary Ann Howarth, daughter of George Thomas Howarth and Eliza Marmont, in 1894 in Crookwell, NSW.206 Mary was born in 1875 in Goulburn, NSW207 and died in 1907 in Crookwell, NSW208 at age 32.
