Elias married Anna Maria Josepha Bickelmaier in 1863 in Eden, NSW.² Anna was born on December 4, 1843 in Oestrich, Germany and died on March 29, 1923 in Pambula, NSW³ at age 79. Another name for Anna was Anna Bekelmeier.
