William married Elizabeth Logan McCarthy, daughter of William McCarthy and Jane Craigie, in 1871 in Bega, NSW.² Elizabeth was born on December 5, 1850 in Monaro, NSW,³ died on March 13, 1939 in Lismore, NSW⁴ at age 88, and was buried in Lismore Cemetery, NSW Church of England section.

Children from this marriage were:

   F    i. Mary Eleanor Kennedy was born in 1872 in Bega, NSW⁵ and died in 1880 in Bega, NSW⁶ at age 8.

   2 M    ii. Edward Walter Kennedy was born in 1874 in Bega, NSW⁷ and died in 1933 in Coffs Harbour, NSW⁸ at age 59.

   5 M    v. Patrick Sylvester Kennedy was born on October 7, 1878 in Tantawangalo near Bega, NSW¹³ and died in 1940 in Nowra, NSW¹⁴ at age 62.

   M    vi. Robert Ophir Kennedy was born in 1880 in Bega, NSW¹⁵ and died in 1944 in Lismore, NSW¹⁶ at age 64.

   F    vii. Annie Helena Kennedy was born in 1882 in Bega, NSW¹⁷ and died in 1976 in NSW¹⁸ at age 94.

Annie married Albert Ernest Hyles, son of Thomas Samuel Withy Hyles and Mary Jane Barrett, in 1905 in Rocky Hall near Wyndham, NSW.¹⁹ Albert was born on November 17, 1879 in Frying Pan near Adaminaby, NSW²⁰ and died in 1963 in Bulli, NSW²¹ at age 84.

   6 F    viii. Catherine Hilder Kennedy was born in 1883 in Bega, NSW²² and died in 1964 in Bankstown, NSW²³ at age 81.

   7 F    ix. Amy Florence Kennedy was born in 1885 in Bega, NSW²⁴ and died on January 6, 1962 in Casino, NSW²⁵ at age 77.

   F    x. Jessica S. Kennedy was born in 1886 in Bega, NSW.²⁶

Jessica married Frederick G. Hardwick in 1935 in North Sydney, NSW.²⁷

   F    xi. Alma Leah Kennedy was born in 1887 in Bega, NSW²⁸ and died in 1966 in Lismore, NSW²⁹ at age 79.

Alma married Benjamin Coop, son of Henry Coop and Sarah, in 1917 in Lismore, NSW.³⁰ Benjamin died in 1968 in Lismore, NSW.³¹

   F    xii. Irene Elizabeth Kennedy was born in 1889 in Candelo, NSW³² and died in 1968 in St Leonards, NSW³³ at age 79.

Irene married John A. Thoroughgood, son of George Thoroughgood and Charlotte E., in 1920 in Lismore, NSW.³⁴ John died in 1934 in Balmain North, NSW.³⁵

   F    xiii. Lillian Bernice Kennedy was born in 1890 in Eden, NSW³⁶ and died in 1976 in NSW³⁷ at age 86.

   8 F    xiv. Mavis Edna Kennedy was born in 1894 in Eden, NSW³⁸ and died in 1949 in Canterbury, NSW³⁹ at age 55.

2. Edward Walter Kennedy (William Francis¹) was born in 1874 in Bega, NSW⁷ and died in 1933 in Coffs Harbour, NSW⁸ at age 59.

Edward married Jane N. Hazelgrove, daughter of Robert Horace Hazelgrove and Eliza Jane Mitchell, in 1909 in Bega, NSW.⁴⁰ Jane was born in 1888 in Eden, NSW⁴¹ and died in 1934 in Auburn, NSW⁴² at age 46.

Henry married Hilda Hyacinth Knight, daughter of George Knight and Florence Christina Lucas, in 1937 in Ashfield, NSW.⁵⁰

   M    vii. Ronald William Kelly was born in 1910 in Eden, NSW.⁵⁸

Ronald married Gwendoline Maude Cole in 1940 in Eden, NSW.⁵⁹ Gwendoline was born in 1923 and died on January 27, 2004 in Canberra, ACT at age 81.

4. William Francis Kennedy (William Francis¹) was born in 1877 in Bega, NSW¹¹ and died in 1959 in Casino, NSW¹² at age 82.

William married Mabel Boyd, daughter of John Benjamin Boyd and Margaret Jane Blow, on December 17, 1913 in Bega, NSW.⁶⁰ Mabel was born on February 1, 1885 in Shoalhaven, NSW⁶¹ and died on August 25, 1964 in Kyogle, NSW⁶² at age 79.

5. Patrick Sylvester Kennedy (William Francis¹) was born on October 7, 1878 in Tantawangalo near Bega, NSW¹³ and died in 1940 in Nowra, NSW¹⁴ at age 62.

Patrick married Theresa Jane Gill, daughter of Charles Munro Gill and Frances Rebecca Gaunson, on August 24, 1904 in 'Willow Creek' Towamba, Bega, NSW.⁶⁴ Theresa was born on September 21, 1881 in Cooma, NSW,⁶⁵ died on June 2, 1926 in Balmain North, NSW⁶⁶ at age 44, and was buried in Rookwood Cemetery, NSW.

   M    i. Ophir Craigie Gaunson Kennedy was born on August 22, 1905 in Towamba, NSW⁶⁷ and died in 1956 in Sydney, NSW⁶⁸ at age 51.

Greta married Lloyd Ross Grant Parsons, son of George James Parsons and Lillian Barbara Grant, in 1941 in Glebe, NSW.⁷³ Lloyd died in 1976 in Sydney, NSW.⁷⁴ They had no children.

   F    v. Joan Enid Mary Kennedy was born on January 24, 1918 in Baddington, VIC and died on October 18, 2004 in Sydney, NSW at age 86.

Joan married Basil Beauchamp St John, son of Basil St John, in 1947 in Sydney, NSW. Basil was born on November 18, 1912 in Toowoomba, QLD.
