1. Henry Hammond was born on April 24, 1824 in Hingham, Norfolk, England, died on February 10, 1908 in Candelo, NSW1 at age 83, and was buried on February 11, 1908 in Candelo Cemetery, NSW.
Notes: arrived 1844 on the vessel "Royal Saxon".
Eleanor Hammond died 23 October 1855. At this time Henry had an Inn called "The Travellers Rest". A little further down the Mudgee road the O'Connors had an Inn called "The Australian Arms" at Tunnabutta. Jane (Henry's 2nd wife) had the Licence for the Inn after her husband's death.
Henry married Eleanor McQuiggin on July 17, 1848 in Kelso, NSW.2 Eleanor was born in 1820 and died on October 23, 1855 in Mudgee, NSW3 at age 35.

3 M ii. William Edward Hargraves Hammond was born on February 28, 1851 in Tabrabucca Swamp, NSW,5 was baptised on August 5, 1851, died on June 26, 1927 in Woollahra, NSW6 at age 76, and was buried in Rookwood Cemetery, NSW Catholic section.
Henry next married Jane Reynolds, daughter of Richard Beale Reynolds and Elizabeth Sarah Stirling, in 1857 in Mudgee, NSW.7 Jane was born on April 26, 1821 in Wilberforce, NSW8 and died on June 13, 1865 in Eden, NSW9 at age 44.

2. Arthur Henry Albert Hammond (Henry1) was born on May 2, 1849 in Bathurst, NSW and died in March 1939 in Byron Bay, NSW4 at age 89.
Arthur married Jane Reynolds, daughter of Archibald Reynolds and Flora Fraser, on May 9, 1877 in "Kyloe", Adaminaby, NSW.12 Jane was born on August 23, 1854 in Buckinderry, NSW,13 was baptised in August 1855 in Church of England, Monaro District, NSW, died on October 27, 1878 in Candelo, NSW14 at age 24, and was buried on October 28, 1878 in Kameruka Cemetery near Bega, NSW. The cause of her death was Blood poisoning.

Edith married William H. Sharp, son of Robert William Sharpe and Emma Otton, in 1880 in Bega, NSW.40 William was born in 1856 in Eden, NSW41 and died in 1896 in Candelo, NSW42 at age 40. Another name for William was William H Otton.
