Mrs. Roberson, of Fairview, Bega, who died last week, was a daughter of the late Mr. W. Gates, of Candelo. She had been twice married, first to Mr. Deacon, and later to Mr. Roberson, who was drowned in a flood at Jellat Jellat some years ago. Her first family comprises: Messrs Charles, Jack, Les, Mick Deacon, Mrs Baden Dowling and Mrs Flanagan. Jack and Les are in the forces. There are three sons of the second marriage, Ronald, Clive and Lloyd, all in the forces so that she had five sons in the fighting forces, and she worried a lot over the war. She had been bad for about five weeks, and was in hospital for part of the time. Mrs. Garnie Moffitt is a sister of deceased.
