1. Benjamin Bowtell, son of Benjamin Bowtell and Maria Pedley, was born in 1859 in Goulburn, NSW,¹ died on October 22, 1933 in Bombala, NSW² at age 74, and was buried in Bombala Cemetery, NSW Grave 394.

Benjamin married Margaret Ellen Leslie in 1883 in Bombala, NSW.,³ daughter of John Leslie and Margaret McClung. Margaret was born in 1862 in Queanbeyan, NSW,⁴ died on January 15, 1937 in Bombala, NSW⁵ at age 75, and was buried in Bombala Cemetery, NSW Grave 394.

   2 F    i. Edith May Bowtell was born in 1884 in Bombala, NSW⁶ and died in 1969 in Bombala, NSW⁷ at age 85.

Ruby married Alexander Charles Sutherland in 1914 in Bega, NSW.,¹⁰ son of Daniel Joseph Sutherland and Adelia Campbell. Alexander was born in 1879 in Broulee, NSW¹¹ and died in 1954 in Redfern, NSW¹² at age 75.

   F    iii. Margaret Ellen Bowtell was born in 1890 in Bombala, NSW¹³ and died in 1937 in Bombala, NSW⁵ at age 47.

She never married and had no children

   F    iv. Mary Bowtell was born in 1892 in Bombala, NSW,¹⁴ died on January 25, 1956 in Delegate, NSW¹⁵ at age 64, and was buried in Delegate Cemetery, NSW Grave 274.

Mary married Henry James Clarke in 1913 in Bombala, NSW.,¹⁶ son of Edward Edwin Clarke and Flora. Henry was born in 1889 in Bombala, NSW, died on August 14, 1973 in Delegate, NSW¹⁷ at age 84, and was buried in Delegate Cemetery, NSW Grave 273.

   F    vi. Ruth Mary Bowtell was born in 1895 in Bombala, NSW¹⁹ and died in 1971 in Sydney, NSW²⁰ at age 76.

Ruth married William Leonard Dawson in 1918 in Bombala, NSW.,²¹ son of Frederick Harnett Dawson and Mary Ann Quinn. William died in 1945 in Bombala, NSW.²²
