Notes: convicted of receiving stolen goods and sentenced to 14yrs in 1832. William boarded the ship 'Andromeda' which left Portsmouth, England on 17 November 1832 and arrived in Sydney, NSW on 11 March 1833. On receiving his ticket of leave just 7 years later, had his wife and children join him...they came as assisted passengers while his oldest son William came as an unassisted passenger, all on the the 'Lady Kennaway'.
