Miss Allen sister of Mr.G.M.Allen,of Wolumla was the victim of a very painful accident on the 19/10/1904. It seems that Miss Allen and her niece were driving to Bemboka in a sulky and when they reached the turn at Kameruka the horse wanted to take the road to Candelo and it being pulled around on to the Bemboka road the sulky capsized. Both ladies were thrown violenty to he ground, and Miss Allen sustained a bad facture of the left leg at the thigh. The younger miss Allen fortunately escaped injury.
