1. Bartholomew Carragher, son of Emanuel Carragher, was born circa 1806 in County Monaghan, Ireland and died in 1865 in Pambula, NSW1 at age 59.
Notes: Bartholomew was a convict, arrested for 'Feloniously taking away Elizabeth Knox by force' in 1835. Tried in County Monaghan, Ireland February 29, 1836 and sentenced to life. He was transported on the vessel "Captain Cook 2" in 1836 and received a Ticket of Leave October 7, 1841 in the district of Braidwood, NSW.
He was granted "Permission to Marry" Margaret Cameron September 20, 1843.

PATRICK MULLANE was born in County Cork, Ireland, in 1837, and after leaving school pursued farming avocations successfully for six years.
At the age of twenty -six he sailed for New South Wales, and on arrival became a road contractor in the Clarence as well as the Monaro districts. At the latter place he combined farming with his other business, and after carrying on both these lines successfully for several years, he engaged in the hotel-keeping business; first at Pine Valley, then at Sydney, and finally at Cooma, where he now conducts the Australian Arms, Sharp -street.
